Talk:Neighborhood Policing

From JacksonHeights.nyc
Jump to navigation Jump to search

JacksonHeights.nyc is a neighborhood resource available to those who live and serve the neighborhood, that includes those who work at the 115th Precinct and those engaged with Neighborhood Policing.

Should the NCOs and residents find it helpful, they can make use of the site. For example,

  • announce public or topical meetings
  • NCOs might announce where they'll be at say 2 o'clock
  • they might choose to post questions
    • residents might pose questions to NCOs or fellow residents
    • NCOs might pose questions to fellow NCOs or residents
  • suggestions
    • residents might post suggestions to NCOs or fellow residents
    • NCOs might post suggestions to fellow NCOs or residents

In their daily work the NCOs might invite and encourage the public the use the site. (It's a wiki and relatively open and east to post to - like Wikipedia.)

NOTE: This is all very delicate communications. Care must be taken. But there is an opportunity.
