One of the planets most diverse, immigrant-rich neighborhoods needs a comprehensive resource of knowledge and process on immigration; and of the cultural contributions and needs of immigrants. Help us build it here.

Immigration Defined[edit]

Immigration is the international movement of people into a destination country of which they are not natives or where they do not possess citizenship in order to settle or reside there, especially as permanent residents or naturalized citizens, or to take up employment as a migrant worker or temporarily as a foreign worker.   • Make the Road New York - For over 20 years, Make the Road New York (MRNY) has fought to ensure respect and dignity for immigrant, poor, and working class New Yorkers.
  • Saya (South Asian Youth Action) is a 501(c)3 youth development organization in New York City for students in elementary school through college.
