This page, and its supporting Discussion page (see above), seek to provide Jackson Heights' residents with information on providers of traditional ISP service - the signal that powers the Internet. It should be of assistance to cord cutters.

Standard ISP Speed and Pricing (as offered on January 4, 2018)[edit]

The following rates are for a "standalone" connections to the Internet, i.e., the following prices are for "Internet only." They do not require a bundled purchase of video or phone service. "Deals" and "Discounts" are not reflected.

Earthlink (delivered over Spectrum's cable) Everywhere see Fine Print -> $44.99 year one, $64.99 thereafter* see Fine Print -> "Earthlink Highspeed Wireless Cable Internet" service is delivered through Spectrum. As per Earthlink "With this, you can stream movies, do heavy downloading, play online games and access Internet wirelessly on multiple computers/devices using a Wireless router. Hughes Net - via Satellite (rates as of January 1, 2018)[edit]

The Internet connection speed provided by a Hughes satellite dish (antenna) is 25 mbps. The more you use the Internet the more you pay, with usage reflected in your monthly bill - as follows.
